In 2019, Michael and Gregg found themselves embracing a remote work lifestyle, constantly on the move. Seeking an escape from the monotony of their home offices, they instinctively gravitated towards the local coffee shop, immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and the burgeoning sense of community.

However, they soon realized that the bustling coffee shop environment wasn't conducive to deep, focused work. The perpetual noise and constant stream of people interrupted their flow. Driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, Michael and Gregg set out to find the perfect location for a coworking community in Lansdale. They finally landed on a space after nearly a year of scouring countless properties, engaging in negotiations with landlords, and pouring their energy into transforming a chosen space into something remarkable.

In February 2020, R5 Co-Lab was born. Beyond the realm of productivity, Michael and Gregg's true passion lies in fostering a genuine sense of community. They yearned to create a space where individuals could connect, collaborate, and forge meaningful relationships. They understood the isolation that comes with solitary work at home every day, and they envisioned R5 Co-Lab as the third space—an interactive haven where people could come together.

While Michael and Gregg are the founders of the space, it is the members who infuse life into the community.
